  • Rifle Range

The rifle range was moved out of the forest after flooding created a concern for disease carrying mosquitoes. The new range was relocated a few times before was located on this site. This shelter was built by the men of Brooksville Bible Chapel.

  • Archery Range

The archery pavilion was built by Charlie Widboom and Ralph VanDemark in 2016. It provides shade and shelter for the class and dry storage for the equipment during summer camp.

  • The Big Field

The sports field soil is mostly sand (as seen in this photo). It has always been difficult to grow grass. However, it is the drain field for run-off rain water from the gymnasium. The sandy soil allows water to be absorbed quickly.

  • Gymnasium

After the first summer, the next thing to be constructed was a place for activities. Tennis was very popular at the time.

  • The Playground

the original location of the playground is approximately between the office door and the flagpole. It was moved in 1994 to the present location and a fence was erected. The new location provided shade and proximity to the Dining Hall porch.

  • New Cabins

Cabin 9/10 framed in with roofing. The new cabins sleep up to 18 and have three showers, two laundry rooms, and a screened porch. This was a five year project completed for summer 2008.

  • Original Cabins

These cabins were completed in 1976. The cabins were completed and furnished just hours before the first summer camp in 1976. There was no AC, there were no ceilings or inside walls. The bunks shown here remained in use until about 2008. A few of them can still be found in the Lodge and Infirmary.

  • Original Office

This is 1983. This trailer was the office and snak shak. The slab remains between the Dining Hall and Cabin 3/4. The 1985 Camp Map shows this location.

  • The Dining Hall

The Dining Hall was the first building to be completed. The volunteers that built the original buildings ate, slept, and stored their tools in this building.
