These cabins were completed in 1976.

The cabins were completed and furnished just hours before the first summer camp in 1976.

There was no AC, there were no ceilings or inside walls. The bunks shown here remained in use until about 2008. A few of them can still be found in the Lodge and Infirmary.

Cabin Upgrades

The first upgrades included inside walls and ceilings. The pressed board shown here was eventially replaced with drywall. and the window seals were added.

The showers have been replaced at twice. Originally, they were concrete block lined. Next they had fiberglass inserts, and now they are tiled.

The first cabin AC units were installed in the 1990s. They were wall units as used in motel rooms.
Central AC was not installed until after 2000 for all cabins.
