After the first summer, the next thing to be constructed was a place for activities. Tennis was very popular at the time.
From Tennis Court to Gymnasium
The Tennis Courts would become the floor of the gymnasium in 1987.
You can still see the holes in the floor where the tennis net poles were inserted. These are now used to hold the poles for volleyball nets.
After years of dealing with birds nesting in the ceiling insulation, a metal ceiling was installed.
The porch was covered in 1991.
Gym Extension: New Camp Office
The office/library/snak shak portion was added 1988. Note the absence of the gym porch and the dormitory stairs in this photo.
The dormitory was completed in time for summer 1989 after getting an exemption that required an elevator.
